Sharing Resources, Supporting Families, Creating Solutions

In December of 2021, we gathered together a group of partner organizations and community members to participate in Action Planning sessions where we arrived at these high-level goals and objectives:

Behind the Plan — Our Needs Assessment

We shared our findings on November 17, 2021. This webinar included an overview of needs assessment data, methods, and action items.

Become a Member!

Due to the broad goals of this project, LGCYCF is seeking to broaden cross-sector representation.

  • Early childhood care and education, including Head Start, public or private family- or center-based child care, as well as public or private schools serving children birth through age 8

  • Behavioral health system serving children and their families

  • Healthcare for children through age 8 and their families (including prenatal services)

  • Support for children with disabilities/developmental delays

  • Economic assistance

  • Employment support system

  • Family and community support groups, including family resource centers, community action partnership agencies, or faith-based groups

  • Child protection system

Member Expectations

  • Serve as critical community champions for our most vulnerable children and their families.

  • Attend and contribute to monthly collaborative meetings and/or workgroup team meetings, to help identify the needs and build a regional strategic response.

  • Share professional expertise, diverse knowledge of constituent perspectives, and connections to local resources.

​Stipends will reimburse organizations for their participation
